Mouse activity monitoring is crucial in many research projects. Being able to monitor and track this activity is now affordable and easy. The Hall Effect IC magnetic sensor provides sensitive magnetic detection capabilities. As the wheel spins, balanced magnets on the wheel pass by the sensor to record the activity. 

Designed to be plug and play with the WESIL Clients, the sensor can be connected to the WESIL via a cable. The mounting bracket connects to the standard lid of most mouse cages. The sensor attaches from the top to avoid any cables entering the enclosure.

Due to the solid state nature of these sensors they are reliable and long lasting. There are no LED indicators on the sensor.
